Tamra Barbieri, MABC, LPC
Tamra has a heart for helping those who are hurting by walking along with them as they navigate a sometimes painful season of life. She is especially passionate about marriages and is committed to helping marriages grow stronger, encouraging those who are facing difficulties, and fighting for those who have lost hope.
In addition to her counseling services, Tamra loves teaching. Tamra has been an adjunct professor teaching a dual enrollment Introduction to Psychology class for Adrian College and she taught a Bible class for Lenawee Christian high school on marriage and family for over 6 years. However, one of her favorite things to teach are Precept Bible classes at her church, Grace Point EFC, where her husband is the Lead pastor.
Tamra has her Master's Degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary where she also received the Lucy Mabrey Counseling Award from the Department of Counseling.
Tamra has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses the Gottman method for marriage counseling. She is also a member of AACC and board certified by NBCC.
In addition to her counseling and teaching, Tamra is also available for speaking engagements. Whether it be a MOPS group, church luncheon, or retreat, Tamra loves to share what the Lord is teaching her through His word and her life experiences.
